“Over the past decade, it doesn’t matter life’s experiences – highs, lows and everything in between, there is one thing that has remained consistent in my life and that is simply my love for yoga. At the root of everything I do, it is in pure service to this path and that is what I’m most eager to share.

Yoga is much more than movement, it’s a practice of presence. It is through this work on the mat that we obtain the awareness to apply the work off of the mat into our daily lives.”

Maui is known for its sunny and perfect weather year round. Maui is home to desert, rainforest, and mountainous climates. Areas that experience higher amounts of rainfall will be more green, lush, and humid, while areas with little to no rainfall will be more dry, sunny, and hot.

We will be staying “upcountry” on the “north shore” of Maui which is predominantly beautiful sunny days, can have chilly cozy nights and can experience generous rainfall.

Your morning’s practice will comprise of Vinyasa Krama and Prānāyāma, an intelligent sequence that creatively prepares the body for a challenging “apex” or “peak” posture. You will connect breath, mind, and body through a graceful yet challenging yoga asana practice. This class is inviting to all levels as we move very intentionally and slow at first to dial in alignment and then build to that dance of one breath to one movement. You will be guided through an array of breathing techniques designed to awaken and move energy. You will feel strong, centered, and invigorated.

Enjoy your evenings with a relaxing Yin Yoga class to end the perfect day. Postures in Yin are usually held for 3-5 minutes; the benefits of these longer holds is that they restore health in not only the muscles but the fascia, bones, and ligaments. This restorative practice is the ultimate way to reset your nervous system, calm your mind, and ease your soul.
